Without exception, the individuals that comprise River Architects have mastered the inclusive design process and the art of effective communication. Their communication skills include the ability to work with governing boards and planning teams to organize an appropriate community approach. Once the community approach is underway, the firm provides the organization, enthusiasm, tact and creativity to solicit the kind of input that contributes meaningfully to both the design and the spirit of the building being designed.

The characteristic which I have grown to trust and expect time and again from River Architects is the ability to listen. This is a simple concept - essential to the process. Surely, all architects listen? Let me assure you that I have witnessed numerous instances in which representatives from other firms have not listened or have pretended to listen and then based their decisions solely on their preferences.
