As an Associate Principal on River Architects’ team, Michael’s 25 years with the firm have provided him with the opportunity to be part of a wide variety of projects where he has successfully led some of the firms largest and most complex projects. In addition, he has played a key role in our historic preservation practice.

Michael is a firm believer that designs are most successful when all aspects of the project are thoughtfully integrated and executed throughout the design and construction process. 

Michael brings a professional yet personable approach to projects that encourages a shared involvement of all the stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and collaborative design process. 

When not spending time with his family watching his two daughters on the volleyball court, you may bump into him on the backroads of the Coulee Region riding his bike or motorcycle. Those with a nautical interest may find him cruising the river when the weather is nice or on the ice in the winter patiently waiting for the fish to bite.
