Born from a need for a park to accommodate all who want to participate, All-Abilities Trane Park transformed a flat grassy field into an enclosed park, creating a safe space for all, and fulfilling the mission of “Everybody Has the Right To Play.”
The 6.9-acre enclosed park provides security and support for caregivers, contains specially designed activity zones for swinging, swaying, early development, climbing, and exploration with play equipment such as hills, slides and ziplines. Sensory, musical and tactile areas, and a climbing wall are also part of the park filled with opportunities for occupational, physical, and speech therapists to integrate their therapy services into a safe, outdoor environment.
