After preliminary results of a community needs survey indicated Boyceville residents overwhelmingly support a new library, the Boyceville Public Library looked to collaborate with River Architects.

Its current facility is outdated, does not comply with many of today’s ADA guidelines, and needs renovation. Through Building Committee Meetings, the new library will rectify those concerns with an added goal of making the new facility a “Net Zero” building, meaning the building’s energy uses would be fully met by renewable energy produced onsite. This will be a first-of-its-kind library in Wisconsin.

A dedicated multipurpose space for storytime, presentations, forums, and casual events will have separate entrances to allow the space to be utilized during non-library hours.
