Heritage Hall is being reimagined as a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary academic hub. It is poised to become a luminous and dynamic learning environment, conducive to a plurality of new uses and improvisations.
The substantial size of Heritage has enabled it to absorb a multitude of distinct programmatic agendas, including general classroom use, food science, clinical services, and child care for employees and students. Relationships and wayfinding between these programs are negotiated by two central spaces—a town square and a wellness core—which work to promote a sense of togetherness and health amidst the building’s diverse activities. A central stair and elevator invite visitors to experience Heritage in its totality, traversing four floors and numerous innovative programs on public display.
