The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which River Architects completed earlier this year, was featured in “Traditional Building” Magazine detailing the collaboration that went into this project. The 21,000-square-foot church in La Crosse, Wis., is part of a shrine dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The 100-acre grounds include a pilgrims’ center, Church, and outdoor devotional areas such as a Memorial to the Unborn, Stations of the Cross, and a votive candle chapel.
