WAFER Food Pantry celebrated the groundbreaking of its new facility. WAFER bough the former Gordy’s Market on George Street in La Crosse.
WAFER Food Pantry is renovating the building with a strong history of food service. Previously occupied by Skogman’s Foodliner, Birnbaum’s Park and Shop, and IGA, parts of the building are being restored to its original 1906 form. An addition will be added in the front of the building.
